Our brief from the team at Compound was to create a short, intriguing teaser for Legend to generate interest, followed by a longer trailer for the launch of their new product.
Inspired by Apple’s 1984, the old and broken financial system is represented as a stark, monolithic landscape, with news readers talking to financial failings throughout history on an aged, CRT television set.
Legend is represented by a particle system, the guiding light and disruptor that tears down the broken financial narrative, breathing life and opportunity into the stark landscape and enabling luscious foliage to bloom and flourish.
The solar-punk inspired style represents a bright and hopeful future in contrast to the old world of financial failure left behind.
